Southampton Renaissance
Southampton Renaissance is a city-scale regeneration and investment framework coordinating long-term change across 435 hectares of the city centre and waterfront. The programme, which won the national Planning Award for Promoting Economic Growth in June 2026, provides a unified vision, area frameworks, and an investment prospectus to guide development over the next two decades. It is not a single planning permission, and its capacity figures represent long-term strategic potential rather than approved construction.
Townhill Park Regeneration
Townhill Park is a long-running estate renewal programme in east Southampton, currently progressing through the council's Affordable Housing Framework. Following the appointment of Abri and Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as delivery partners, the project is advancing through design and pre-planning stages across five key plots. While early phases including 56 homes and a new community green are complete, the programme is now focused on finalising designs and submitting planning applications for the remaining sites to deliver approximately 600 new affordable homes.
