Does an invoice mean the rent has been paid?

No. An invoice shows what’s due. This workflow uses payments you record; creating an invoice doesn’t itself collect rent, move money or reconcile a bank account.

What if I record a payment incorrectly?

Correct the payment entry and review the updated balance. If a payment has arrived but hasn’t been recorded yet, add it before relying on the outstanding figure.

Can the agent prepare a reminder for a part payment?

Yes. In the example above, it can prepare a reminder for the £350 outstanding, rather than asking for the full £950 again. You approve the message before it goes out.
