Frome Gateway Regeneration
The Frome Gateway regeneration is a 15-hectare project in St Jude's, Bristol, transforming an industrial corridor into a sustainable, mixed-use riverside neighbourhood. Following the endorsement of a Spatial Regeneration Framework in February 2024, the project has entered its implementation phase. Two pioneer sites, the Crown Sawmills residential scheme and the Little George Street student accommodation project, received unanimous planning approval in December 2025. Developers are currently progressing through post-approval legal agreements and design requirements, with the Crown Sawmills site having recently hosted meanwhile-use cultural activities prior to anticipated construction.
Bedminster Green Regeneration
Bedminster Green is a coordinated regeneration programme across five development plots in East Bedminster, Bristol. Guided by the 2019 Bedminster Green Framework, the project aims to deliver residential-led mixed-use schemes, public realm enhancements, the restoration of the River Malago, and improved transport infrastructure, including a low-carbon district heat network. While two plots are complete, the project continues to evolve with new proposals for remaining sites and ongoing environmental works.
Bristol Temple Quarter Regeneration
Bristol Temple Quarter is a 135-hectare regeneration programme transforming the area around Bristol Temple Meads and St Philip's Marsh into a mixed-use district. The project aims to deliver 10,000 homes and 22,000 jobs, supported by major infrastructure including the University of Bristol's Enterprise Campus and a new Southern Gateway transport hub. As of August 2026, the project has entered a significant delivery phase, with the University of Bristol's Enterprise Campus and the new Eastern Entrance to Temple Meads station scheduled to open in September 2026. Governance is transitioning as Homes England steps back from the Bristol Temple Quarter LLP board to empower local leadership, with Muse appointed as the preferred private sector development partner.
