Clifton Pride in Place Programme
The Clifton Pride in Place Programme is a long-term, community-led regeneration initiative for the Clifton area of Nottingham, supported by approximately £20 million in government funding over a ten-year period (2024 to 2034). The programme focuses on physical infrastructure, public space improvements, and community facilities, with governance provided by the Clifton Neighbourhood Board. Following government approval of an £8 million delivery plan for the first four years, the programme is entering its delivery phase, with capital projects expected to commence from 2026/27.
St Ann's East and Broxtowe/Cinderhill Pride in Place Programme
St Ann's East and Broxtowe/Cinderhill are progressing through the government's Pride in Place programme, which provides funding to empower local communities to lead neighbourhood regeneration. Following the July 2026 deadline for finalising neighbourhood board membership, the initiative is now focused on co-developing long-term regeneration visions and investment plans with local residents. The programme remains in the foundational planning and vision-setting phase.
Broad Marsh Regeneration
Broad Marsh is Nottingham's most significant city centre regeneration project, currently undergoing phased demolition and site preparation following its acquisition by Homes England in March 2025. The project is advancing through the formal procurement of a master development partner, with Homes England and its advisor Savills currently reviewing responses from a strong field of national and international developers. The long-term vision, supported by the East Midlands Combined County Authority and Nottingham City Council, aims to transform the 11-acre site into a sustainable mixed-use quarter featuring approximately 1,000 new homes, commercial space, and enhanced public realm, building on the success of the recently completed Green Heart park.
