Queensmere Shopping Centre Redevelopment

Queensmere has outline permission for a residential-led mixed-use redevelopment of up to 1,600 homes in central Slough. Phase A has reached a committee resolution to approve subject to conditions, but the council portal still showed no formal reserved-matters decision on 11 September 2026; closure and preparatory activity are therefore treated as enabling rather than permanent construction.

North West Quadrant

North West Quadrant is a major mixed-use regeneration project on the former Thames Valley University site in central Slough. Promoted by Muse and Homes England, the scheme proposes approximately 1,500 homes alongside commercial, community, and public-realm space. A hybrid planning application is currently under consideration by Slough Borough Council, with the project team indicating that, subject to approval, construction of the first phase could potentially commence in early 2028.
