Stocking Farm Estate Redevelopment
The Stocking Farm Estate Redevelopment in north-west Leicester has progressed into the delivery phase following the appointment of Clegg Construction as the main contractor for the £18.8 million project. The scheme aims to revitalise the area by delivering 50 energy-efficient family council homes and 22 supported living apartments, including the conversion of a locally-listed 19th-century farmhouse. The project also incorporates new community facilities, improved public realm infrastructure, and a new link road connecting Marwood Road to Packwood Road.

Leicester Railway Station Gateway
Leicester City Council, Network Rail and East Midlands Railway are progressing a major overhaul of the Grade II-listed station, including a new Station Street entrance and public plaza, restored historic frontage and remodelled passenger facilities. On 22 July 2026 the city mayor approved adding GBP9.95 million of Department for Transport Levelling Up funding to the project. A councillor call-in was considered and withdrawn on 6 August, reviving the decision in full. The council's latest public programme targets a new tender exercise and appointment of a main development partner in early 2027.
