Hounslow’s average house price stood at £497,276 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is the latest mix-adjusted figure for the area.
It puts the market below the £500,000 mark again after two months just above it. The monthly move was down 1.3%.
Hounslow’s private rent market continued to edge higher in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average rent reached £1,933 a month.
That was up from £1,922 in April, so rents rose by £11 month on month.
Hounslow’s resident labour market picture shows relatively solid pay, but a mixed employment backdrop. In the year to Jan 2025 to Dec 2025, the ONS ASHE resident earnings data puts median weekly pay at £807.50.
That is above the Great Britain median of £766.60.
