Private rents in the East Midlands continued to edge higher in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average rent reached £914.
That is up from £911 in April, a month-on-month rise of 0.36%. It is also £33 higher than in May 2025, which means annual growth stood at 3.72%.
