Tower Hamlets recorded an average house price of £457,504 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That was up 0.8% on March, when the average was £454,018.
It is a modest monthly rise, and it breaks a run of declines seen over the previous months. The annual picture is still weak.
Tower Hamlets rents continued to rise in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average monthly rent reached £2,419.
That is up £9 from April’s £2,410. It means a modest month-on-month increase of 0.35%.
