Test Valley’s average house price stood at £372,348 in June 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is a modest rise of 0.5% on the month.
Over the year, prices were down by 0.2%, so the market is still close to flat rather than in clear growth or decline.
Private rents in Test Valley reached an average of £1,234 in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That was up by £8 from June’s £1,226.
It also means rents rose 0.6% month on month. The annual picture remains strong.
