According to the UK House Price Index, the average home in Tendring was priced at £255,529 in April 2026. That is up by 1.1% on the month, after March’s weaker reading, when the average price stood at £252,731 and monthly growth was -1.8%.
The annual picture is still slightly negative.
ONS private rent statistics for Tendring show that the average monthly rent reached £1,051 in May 2026. That is up by £1 from April, so the month-on-month movement was very small.
