St Helens house prices continued to rise in June 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. The average price reached £186,435.
That is up 1.3% on the month and 11.1% higher than a year earlier. The latest figure also shows a clear lift from May, when the average price stood at £183,968.
St Helens’ average private rent stood at £802 in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That was up from £798 in June, a month-on-month rise of 0.5%.
Over the year, rents were 6.1% higher than in July 2025, when the average was £755.
