South Oxfordshire’s average house price stood at £466,091 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is down 1.3% from March, when the average was £472,052.
It is still above the level seen a year earlier, with annual growth of 1.7%. The latest figure shows a modest fall after a stronger March.
Private rents in South Oxfordshire stood at an average of £1,381 in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That is almost unchanged from April, when the average was £1,380.
The monthly move was a very small rise of 0.07%. The annual picture is weaker.
