Shropshire’s average house price reached £284,036 in June 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is a monthly rise of 1.3%, up from £280,309 in May.
Over the year, prices were 4.9% higher than in June 2025, when the average stood at £270,747.
Private rents in Shropshire stood at an average of £819 a month in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That was up from £817 in June, so rents rose by £2 month on month.
The latest monthly movement was 0.25%, which points to continued, but fairly modest, growth.
