Sefton’s average house price stood at £218,893 in April 2026, according to the latest UK House Price Index. That was up by 0.2% on March, when the average was £218,484.
On an annual basis, prices were 2.9% higher than a year earlier.
According to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents, the average private rent in Sefton reached £928 in May 2026. That is up from £924 in April, so rents rose by £4 month on month.
The latest monthly change was 0.47%, which shows prices continued to edge higher rather than jump sharply.
