Rotherham’s average house price was £190,069 in June 2026, according to the latest UK House Price Index. That was down 0.7% on May, when the average stood at £191,504.
Even so, prices were still 2.4% higher than a year earlier, showing that annual growth has held up better than the latest monthly dip.
Rotherham’s average private rent stood at £683 in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That was up from £680 in June, so rents rose by £3 month on month.
The latest monthly move was modest, but it still extends a steady upward run in the data.
