Pendle market commentary
What the latest official data may mean for buyers, renters and investors.
Pendle’s average house price stood at £149,613 in June 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is only a small monthly rise of 0.1%, but it keeps values close to the recent high point seen earlier in the spring.

Pendle has a resident population of 100,203, so the local labour market sits in a sizeable community rather than a small town economy. That matters for housing context because it points to a broad base of households, jobs and commuting patterns, even though affordability will still be shaped by local earnings levels and household circumstances.
