What the latest official data may mean for buyers, renters and investors.
North Lincolnshire’s average house price stood at £179,553 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That was up 1.1% on March, when the average was £177,610.
It also leaves the area 4.4% above April 2025, showing a firmer annual picture than the softer movement seen a month earlier.
North Lincolnshire’s private rental market continued to edge higher in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average rent now stands at £645 a month.
That is up from £638 in April, a monthly rise of £7, or 1.1%. The annual picture is also firmer.
North Lincolnshire’s latest ONS and Nomis labour-market picture shows a resident population of 171,336 in 2024. That gives useful context for the local earnings and employment figures, especially when thinking about affordability pressures and the scale of the local labour force.
On ASHE 2025, the resident median weekly pay is £715.70.
