Huntingdonshire’s average house price stood at £308,404 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That was a small monthly fall of 0.2%, down from £309,052 in March.
Even so, prices remain well ahead of where they were a year earlier.
According to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents, the average rent in Huntingdonshire stood at £1,047 in May 2026. That is up by £1 from April’s £1,046.
The month-on-month move was very small, but it still points to rents edging higher. On an annual basis, rents were 3.6% higher than in May 2025.
Huntingdonshire’s latest ONS and Nomis labour-market profile points to a relatively strong earnings and employment backdrop for residents. The area had a population of 190,619 in 2024, giving a sense of the local labour market’s scale and the number of households that depend on local pay conditions when planning for housing costs.
