Havant’s average house price stood at £314,715 in April 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That puts the market slightly below March’s £315,691.
The monthly movement was -0.3%, so prices edged down rather than rose over the latest month. Even with that small dip, values are still higher than a year earlier.
According to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents, average rent in Havant stood at £1,135 in May 2026. That is up by £4 from April, so rents rose 0.4% month on month.
It is also £21 higher than a year earlier, which means annual growth was 1.9%.
Havant’s labour market picture is mixed, but broadly solid. The latest ONS/Nomis profile and ASHE 2025 figures show a resident population of 126,985 in 2024, giving the city a sizeable local workforce and a meaningful base of households in the area.
