What the latest official data may mean for buyers, renters and investors.
East Lindsey’s housing market continued to move upwards in June 2026. The latest UK House Price Index puts the average price at £216,315.
That is up 1.4% on the month and 7.4% higher than a year earlier. The June figure is also comfortably above the spring lows.
East Lindsey’s average private rent stood at £699 in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That is up from £695 in June, so the latest month-on-month movement was a rise of 0.6%.
Over the year, rents were 6.5% higher than in July 2025, when the average was £657.
East Lindsey’s latest ONS/Nomis labour market profile suggests a local earnings base that sits well below the Great Britain average. Resident median weekly pay is £646, which annualises to £33,592.
That compares with £766.60 a week, or £39,863 a year, across Great Britain. Median hourly pay is £15.01, versus £19.74 nationally.
