Careers at Bellsoph

SEO and GEO Specialist

Grow how people find Bellsoph, both in Google and in the answers AI assistants give.

  • Growth
  • London

About the role

Bellsoph publishes UK property data for hundreds of cities, local authorities and postcodes, alongside rankings, free calculators and landlord guides. Every figure comes from an official source and shows its date.

We’re looking for someone to own how all of that gets found. That means classic SEO, and it means generative engine optimisation (GEO): making sure that when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews a property question, Bellsoph is a source that gets found and quoted.

What you’ll do

  • Own organic growth across the property data pages, the Property Hub guides, the calculators and the software pages.
  • Run technical SEO on a large Next.js site: indexing, sitemaps, canonicals, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals.
  • Shape the pages we build from official data, so each city, local authority and postcode page answers the searches people really make.
  • Lead GEO: make our data easy for AI assistants to find, trust and cite, and track how often Bellsoph appears in AI answers.
  • Research keywords and topics for UK landlords, investors and renters, and turn them into briefs for guides and tools.
  • Report on what’s working using Google Search Console and GA4, and turn the findings into changes we ship.
  • Work with engineering on page templates and keep every page accurate. Each number keeps its source and date.
  • Earn links and mentions with data stories that journalists can use.

What we’re looking for

  • A track record of growing organic traffic for a content or data heavy site, ideally one with programmatic pages.
  • Strong technical SEO. You can read a crawl, a set of logs or a rendered page and say what’s wrong.
  • A clear view on GEO and AI search: how LLMs choose sources, what gets cited and how to measure it.
  • Fluency with Google Search Console and GA4, and comfort analysing data in spreadsheets or SQL.
  • Confident writing and editing in plain UK English.
  • Based in or near London.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the UK property market or lettings.
  • Experience with schema.org structured data at scale.
  • A background in digital PR or data journalism.
  • Enough HTML and JavaScript to read a Next.js template or prototype a change.
