On an annual basis, prices were 1.5% higher than a year earlier.
Cannock Chase’s private rental market edged higher in May 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average monthly rent reached £848.
That was up from £845 in April, a rise of 0.4% month on month. The annual picture still points to solid growth, but the pace has eased a little.
