Brent’s average house price stood at £544,174 in June 2026, according to the UK House Price Index. That is a monthly rise of 0.5%.
It also leaves prices 3.4% lower than a year ago. The latest reading shows a modest rebound after May’s 0.7% monthly fall.
Brent’s average private rent stood at £2,012 in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. That was up by £2 from June, a modest month-on-month rise of 0.07%.
It also left rents 2.0% higher than a year earlier. The yearly picture is more telling than the monthly move.
Brent’s latest ONS and Nomis labour-market profile shows a large resident base and a mixed earnings picture. The borough had a resident population of 352,201 in 2025.
