Blackpool’s latest UK House Price Index data shows an average home value of £134,923 in June 2026. That is up 0.6% on the month, or £774, and it leaves prices 7.2% higher than a year earlier.
The figures suggest the local market is still moving forward, but at a measured pace.
Blackpool’s private rental market continued to edge higher in July 2026, according to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents. The average monthly rent reached £714.
That was up from £710 in June and £668 in July 2025. The latest monthly rise was modest at 0.6%.
Blackpool’s latest ONS and Nomis labour-market profile, alongside ASHE resident earnings, shows a local income picture that still sits well below the Great Britain average. The city’s resident median weekly pay is £647.90, which annualises to £33,691.
