Adur’s average house price stood at £380,031 in June 2026, according to the latest UK House Price Index. That is up 1.8% on the month and 1.8% higher than a year earlier.
In cash terms, the average price has risen by about £6,700 since May and is just over £6,500 above June 2025.
According to the ONS Price Index of Private Rents, average monthly rent in Adur stood at £1,399 in July 2026. That was up by £6 from June, a month-on-month rise of 0.4%.
It also means rents were 3.0% higher than a year earlier, when the average was £1,358.
Adur’s latest ONS/Nomis labour-market profile and ASHE 2026 earnings data show a local economy with solid employment and relatively low unemployment. The resident population is 64,802, based on 2025 estimates.
