Eccles Town Centre Regeneration

Soapworks Regeneration
A £200 million mixed-use redevelopment of the 8.5-acre former Colgate-Palmolive site. The project, which secured hybrid planning permission in May 2025, includes 578 new dwellings, 12,800sq.m of commercial space, and 1.8 hectares of enhanced public realm, with a focus on improving pedestrian and cycle connectivity to the River Irwell corridor.

Crescent Salford Masterplan
The £2.5bn Crescent Salford masterplan has reached a significant milestone in July 2026 with the completion of Willohaus, the first residential phase within the Adelphi Village neighbourhood. This development provides 100 affordable, Passivhaus-certified homes managed by Salix Homes. Concurrently, the project continues to advance its infrastructure and innovation goals, with the Salford Rise elevated walkway nearing completion and planning approval secured for an additional 263 homes in Adelphi Village.

Regent Retail Park Regeneration
The Regent Retail Park regeneration is a major mixed-use redevelopment project in Salford that has received outline planning approval. The scheme, led by Henley Investment Management, involves transforming the 4.09-hectare site into a high-density neighbourhood featuring ten residential towers, including a 78-storey skyscraper, alongside 10,000 square metres of commercial and community space and a new public park. The project includes a commitment to 660 affordable homes and is currently in the final stages of legal agreement finalisation before construction can commence.

Strangeways and Cambridge Strategic Regeneration Framework
The Strangeways and Cambridge Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) is a collaborative long-term vision developed by Salford and Manchester City Councils to guide the transformation of a 130-hectare city fringe area. Following public consultation and formal endorsement by both councils in late 2025, the framework now serves as a material consideration for future planning applications, aiming to address flood risk, improve public realm, and facilitate new housing and commercial development.
